TCL operates it's design function very differently from most electronic designers and manufacturers. Initially we hold a review meeting with our customers to assess their product idea. At that point we offer our customers two routes to production. One route is the more conventional way, in that TCL quote to design and prototype service where the customer pays for the complete design and can take their product away to build it anywhere they chose. TCL will offer a build price too for consideration.
